Henrietta Stern 

A former competitive swimmer, runner and triathlete, Henrietta Stern has been actively riding and racing mountain bikes since 2004, with podium finishes at the USA Cycling Nationals, Sea Otter Classic, 24 Hours of Adrenalin (women’s team) and local races.  She obtained “Head Coach” certification through the NorCal High School Mountain Bike Racing League, and enjoys teaching beginners how to mountain bike.  She is an officer of the Monterey Off-Road Cycling Association (MORCA) and Fort Ord Recreation Trails (FORT) Friends, both of which advocate for local trail access.  She regularly rides the trails in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties with her husband and friends, and has traveled to various mountain bike destinations in California, Oregon, and Utah.

Rita Celeste Leon

Rita has a Master’s degree in Education and Bachelors is Human Development.  She has also acquired a license as certified Nutrition Educator through Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts and has been a certified yoga instructor since 2005. Rita is a competitive cyclist and has a level III cycling coach certificate through USA cycling. She also has extensive first aid and safety experience. Much of her specialized skills comes from a life-long practice of healthful active living that stem from a childhood filled with yogic teachings and philosophy. Her passion and education link together an awareness and understanding towards meeting long term goals for the body and mind. The aspect that drives her in inspiring others is living mindful, by encouraging people to eating well,  stay  active and centering your thoughts and actions around GOODNESS.

Her #1 goal is to help people evaluate their lifestyles and eating habits so they can make specific improvements to increase energy, health and productivity of daily goals and duties.

“As an athlete I am aware of the stresses that are put on active people’s bodies.  As a professional educator, I understand the significance of delivering encouragement and guidance to men and women at all levels of fitness, even beginners”
